The Office of Faculty Development has been fortunate to be able to provide small internal grants, called Mini-Grants, to tenure-track and temporary faculty members employed at CSU Channel Islands. The goal of the Mini-Grant Programs is to support the success of our faculty members in achieving excellence in their teaching, scholarly and creative activities, and service at CSU Channel Islands.
Directions for submission of minigrant proposals due by midnight, February 11, 2008.
After preparing your proposal in accord with the guidelines in the RFP linked above, be sure you have drafted a title, an abstract of the proposal and key words for indexing. You'll need these for the online submission process. This year, proposals will be submitted online through a conference management system called "EasyChair."
To submit, Go to <http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=csucimg08> That's CSUCI's mini-grants site. Click on the button, "I have no EasyChair Account." Follow directions to get yourself an account as author. Be certain that you keep a record of your user name and password. Once you have your account, you should see a "New Submission" button. You can use that option to upload your full proposal as either a .doc file or a .pdf file. You can post title and abstract directly into the boxes reserved for these. Also, your first try is nothing terminal. If you wish, you can log back into this system and make revisions right up to the deadline. If you discover problems, email ed.nuhfer@csuci.edu.
